Charity:Water

I first started donating my birthday to charity:water in 2014. I loved that all that money, every penny, is used to fund clean water projects in developing countries. Since then, I’ve done multiple campaigns in an effort to help fight the water crisis and bring clean water to people in need. Even better, after I started donating my birthday to raise funds for charity:water, my friends started to donate their birthdays as well, starting a small movement that continues to this day.

You can click on the supporter logo on the right to see my page on charity:water’s website. While you are there, please read about the water crisis and help out any way you can – by donating to someone’s campaign, or by starting one of your own. Because clean water changes everything, and it is up to all of us to help in any way we can.

Highlights

In 2021, I was featured by charity:water in their inaugural Tiny Heroes campaign, to honor kids who’ve done all sorts of creative, selfless, and beautiful things to raise money for clean water. Check out the cool feature they included me in.

I fulfilled the pledge I made for my 2018 charity:water campaign by creating a poem that incorporates the names of everyone who donated.

I unveil the art project I promised to make as part of my 2017 campaign, and visit the charity:water office to gift it to them. You can see close up pictures of the art work and photos from the office visit in this photo album.

For birthday time at school, I gave a presentation about the water crisis and why I donated my 8th birthday to charity:water.
